Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information anuhlest may collect, why it may be used, and the choices available to visitors. It applies to anuhlest.com and does not govern websites operated by other companies.
Effective date: October 9, 2026
What This Website Is—and Is Not
anuhlest is an independent editorial publication. It is not an online store, a data broker, or a service designed to monitor individual visitors for its own sake. The website is not intended to sell anything directly to visitors. Any measurement tools used are intended to understand readership in the aggregate, maintain and secure the website, deliver requested newsletters, and evaluate limited advertising—not to create a surveillance product.
anuhlest does not sell or rent personal information for money. Some privacy laws use the terms “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly and may apply those terms to certain disclosures involving advertising technology even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, visitors may exercise the choices and rights described below.
Information You Provide
If you email anuhlest, the information you choose to include—such as your email address, name, message, and attachments—will be received and used to respond, maintain records, protect the website, and conduct any resulting business communication.
If you join the newsletter, the signup form may collect your email address, name, optional birthday and telephone number, optional ZIP or postal code, selected reader or professional categories, subscription preferences, consent record, signup time, IP address, and related technical information. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through a Mailchimp-hosted form using double opt-in. You may unsubscribe using the link included in each marketing email.
Information Collected Automatically
The website, hosting provider, and selected measurement services may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, timestamps, interactions, advertising identifiers, cookie identifiers, and diagnostic or performance information.
This information may be collected through server logs, cookies, pixels, browser tags, local storage, URL parameters, or corresponding server-side measurement tools. The exact information depends on which services are active, their configuration, your browser settings, and your consent choices.
Advertising and Measurement Services
anuhlest may use the following services for aggregate readership insights, limited campaign measurement, attribution, delivery improvement, and the creation or exclusion of advertising audiences. Listing a service here does not mean that it is active on every page or that every available feature is used.
Google Ads
Google Ads conversion tracking may use cookies, Google click identifiers, page information, and configured conversion events to connect website actions with advertising interactions and support campaign reporting and optimization. Google’s handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Microsoft Advertising
Microsoft Advertising tools, including Universal Event Tracking (UET), may receive page visits, URLs, referring information, interactions, browser and device information, IP address, cookie or advertising identifiers, and configured conversion events. Microsoft states that UET supports conversion measurement, campaign optimization, audience creation, and remarketing. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab).
Meta
Meta advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and potentially related conversion tools, may receive page visits, interactions, browser and device information, IP address, cookies, and configured events. These signals may be used for measurement, attribution, audience creation, and advertising on Meta services. See Meta’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
TikTok
TikTok advertising tools, including the TikTok Pixel and potentially Events API, may receive page and event information, timestamps, IP address, browser and device information, cookies, page metadata, and configured interactions. These signals may support campaign measurement, optimization, and audience creation. See TikTok’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Reddit advertising tools, including the Reddit Pixel and potentially related conversion tools, may record page visits and configured website actions and connect them with Reddit advertising interactions for campaign measurement, attribution, optimization, and retargeting. See Reddit’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
LinkedIn advertising tools, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag and potentially related conversion tools, may receive page visits, referring and destination URLs, IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, and configured events. These signals may support reporting, attribution, website audiences, and advertising measurement. See LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
Mailchimp
Mailchimp will process newsletter signup information and may measure email delivery, opens, clicks, subscriptions, and unsubscribes. Mailchimp may also process IP address, browser, device, cookie, and navigation information as described in its legal policies. See Mailchimp’s Legal Policies (opens in a new tab).
Other Service Providers
The website may also rely on hosting, security, content-delivery, analytics, newsletter, or advertising providers that perform similar limited functions. This statement does not authorize undisclosed tracking. If another provider materially changes what information is collected or how it is used, this policy will be updated. Active services should be configured to collect only information reasonably necessary for their stated purpose.
Cookies and Your Choices
Where required, advertising and other nonessential tracking tools will not be activated until the visitor has made the applicable consent choice. An appropriate consent control will be added before services requiring consent are activated. Withdrawing or refusing consent may reduce measurement accuracy but should not prevent access to the articles.
You can also limit or delete cookies through your browser and use the privacy and advertising controls provided by Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Browser settings may not control every server-side or cookieless measurement method.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to operate and secure the website, respond to messages, deliver requested newsletters, understand readership, diagnose technical problems, measure and improve advertising, prevent abuse, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal rights.
How Information Is Shared
anuhlest does not sell or rent personal information for money. Information may be shared with hosting, email, analytics, advertising, security, and professional-service providers when reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent. The listed platforms may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including communication, security, recordkeeping, legal, and legitimate business needs. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods under their policies and account settings.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing or targeted advertising. These rights are not absolute and may require identity verification. To make a request, email contact@anuhlest.com.
Children
anuhlest is not directed to children under 13, and it does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact anuhlest so it can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect the website and information under anuhlest’s control. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
